Following a review of utility rights we negotiate compensation to either act as an offset to the cost of diverting apparatus, or the developer/landowner retaining the payment if the apparatus remains.
By finding solutions to divert, underground or remove utility apparatus at minimum cost (potentially £nil cost) – or agree enhanced rights for their retention, we maximise the value and development potential of our clients land. Our services relate to overhead electric lines, substations, underground cables, pylons, wood poles, gas pipelines, water mains and telecommunications equipment.
After reviewing the rights held by the utility company – including wayleaves, easements, leases and licence agreements we carry out a valuation of the loss caused by the presence of the apparatus. We are then best placed to negotiate optimum compensation from the utility company and give our clients confidence that the process is being managed effectively.
